Credentials
Evidence it, don't assume it
Nine out of thirty installers prospected in this market could not be linked with confidence to an official registry entry by searching their trading name. It doesn't mean they aren't registered: it means their website doesn't let you check.
Why it matters
The record that belongs on every site in this sector
Every field on this page is deliberately blank. A demo can't invent a tax number or a registry entry, not even a fake one: that would be precisely the problem this section exists to solve.
- Registered name and legal form
- To be supplied and verified
Who is legally answerable for the work. A trading name is not enough.
- Company tax number
- To be supplied and verified
It's what links a trading name to an official registry entry.
- Installer or maintainer registration number
- To be supplied and verified
The fact almost nobody publishes, and the one that builds most trust when present.
- Authorised category
- To be supplied and verified
Not a generic badge: it changes by branch, and it has to be stated.
- Public liability insurance in force
- To be supplied and verified
It covers the damage if something goes wrong inside the home.
- Business address
- To be supplied and verified
It must match the Google listing. When it doesn't, trust drops.
Credentials
It isn't one badge: it changes by branch
A company can be authorised for gas and not for low voltage. Saying “we're authorised installers” with nothing after it evidences nothing; you have to say for what.
Gas installations
Categories A, B and C depending on the installation. A registered company is required.
Thermal installations
Heating, hot water and air conditioning, as installer or maintainer.
Low voltage
Basic or specialist category depending on the electrical installation.
Where the customer checks it
The regional government maintains a public search for registered installer and maintenance companies. With the registered name or the tax number, anyone can check in a minute whether a company is registered and in which category. Publishing the fact is what turns a claim into something verifiable.
Official search for registered installer and maintenance companies
A public institutional link, included to explain the verification mechanism. Rauda is not in that registry: it is an invented company.
And where there's no registry, none is invented
Locksmithing, and plumbing that doesn't touch regulated installations, have no equivalent industrial registry. There, what's evidenced is identity, activity and insurance. Manufacturing a badge that doesn't exist for those branches is worse than having none.
Who built this site
Rauda isn't real. This website is, and I built it.
I'm Fernando Gómez de la Mata and I design and build websites for small businesses. Rauda is a made-up company I use as a sample: everything here — the emergency call above the fold, the coverage areas, the availability panel, the credentials record — is what I'd propose to a real installer.
If something has broken at home
Rauda is not coming out to you: it isn't a company, it has no engineers and it provides no service. Find an installer in your area and check their registration number before you let anyone into your home.
If you run an installation business
Then you're in the right place. This site is an example of what I can build for you, with your brand, your real coverage and your verified registration details. Message me and let's talk.
